In order for somebody to buy property in Greece, everything is simple. The only thing a European citizen needs is a passport, the tax registration number from his/her country and some official documents that indicate home and work address.


AFM (tax registration number) is necessary for anyone who wants to be part of a financial agreement in Greece. To get one, it is necessary to visit a local tax office.
